Everything seems dull.

It’s just a boring repetition of the day before. Each week is monotonous.

You barely have the motivation to do your other tasks, much less get up, change, and go exercise.

I feel you. That’s how the past months have been for me, but something that always pushes me to achieve my goals is motivational quotes/pins.

This post will be about motivational fitness quotes, let me know if you would like anything similar to this in the future.

These will all be Pinterest pins, so you can always pin them for later use. I have a few boards for motivational quotes(i.e. workout, writing, reading, drawing), so this way whenever I feel down, I can revisit that board.

Also, a quick disclaimer, these fitness quotes will be aggressive. I tend to get out of bed when I read quotes like these. So if you’re recovering from an injury or something similar, and are looking for some light motivational fitness quotes, there are a few in this post. But the majority are quite aggressive.

Now let’s get some motivation!!

fitness quotes start here:

“The next few months will be of jaw-dropping transformation. You can make it happen.”

How To Stay Consistent With Your Exercise

“The key to success is to start before you are ready.”

This is so true, if you keep on putting it off, you’ll never start.

“You can’t succeed if you only work out when you feel like it.”

Okay, I’m guilty of this, but I look at progress photos of myself for inspiration, and if you don’t take progress photos. I recommend it!! It’s a great way of seeing your progress, you may not notice any change, but if you look at them over some time you’ll see if what you’re doing is working.

Plus, it’s much less obsessive than weighing yourself all the time. The scale isn’t always right, for one thing, muscle is heavier than fat. A lot of things in your body fluctuate every day, like water weight. So give your body a break :))

“Blah Blah, Get up and go work out. No excuses.”

As I said, these fitness quotes would be aggressive. I always tell myself I’ll do it in a few, but I end up not doing anything for an hour or so.

“Don’t try to be better than them. Try to be better than you yesterday. That’s the real competition.”

I for one always compare myself to other people, especially those on social media. But, I try to remember that you can’t compare your journey to someone else’s. Think about it like school.

If you’re in 6th grade you can’t obsess and be sad that you don’t know trigonometry or AP Calculus. Because the highschoolers who do it, have had a long journey, and they may make it seem easy, but they’ve also gone through way more than they show. The same goes for people you see on social media, they may not let those bad days show.

So instead of trying to compare yourself to other people’s unknown journey, compare it to yours. Did you do an extra squat or push-up than yesterday? Were you feeling less out of breath on your run than last week? Does your shirt feel looser?

Even if you don’t feel a change, if you stay consistent, your body is changing. And it’s extremely grateful that you’re taking care of it.

“You can’t quit. Not like everybody else. You’re too strong. Keep on going.”

Even if everyone forgets about their goals or the gym seems emptier, you still have to push on. Are you going to ditch your goals, or are you going to smash them, and make new ones?

“Stop saying tomorrow. Soon a year will pass without any progress.”

“It doesn’t get easier, you get stronger.”

I love fitness quotes like this because they show that progress isn’t linear and that we should remember to appreciate our progress and acknowledge it.

“Don’t you want to see what happens, when you don’t give up? I know I do.”

“Not you, not exercising. Start now, let’s go.”

This is more of a play on words than anything, but it’s still motivational.

“Whenever I feel like giving up, I remember that I got a lot of people to prove wrong.”

I know I said before that you should focus on yourself, but sometimes you need an external factor to push you forward. Whether it be people who support you, r don’t.

“good day: workout, bad days: workout harder, keep on going.”

Before, I used not to exercise if I had a bad day and it was just an excuse. But, I’ve started to use that as motivation to work out even harder.

How To Get Better Results When Working Out.

“You can’t win. If you don’t begin.”

“Your desire to change must be greater than your desire to stay the same.”

This is true. If you don’t put in the work to reach your goals, you won’t reach them.

“Fall in love with taking care of your body.”

This blog is here to help you become the best version of yourself, an important part is taking care of your body.

Conclude

Well, those are 15 fitness quotes to motivate you. Not a lot going on this week for me, I’ll be guest posting for The Grumpy Olive next month, and I’m excited about that. Life’s been pretty monotonous, and when I post this, it’ll be a year since I’ve been quarantined.

I started my fitness journey at the start of quarantine, and I’ve found a bunch of new fitness influencers. One of my favorites is Lilly Sabri, and I already wrote a full review for her.

I’ve also been trying to read more. I finished re-reading (aff) Shadow and Bone this morning, maybe I’ll read 2 books this weekend.

If you would like to read some book-related posts check out these:

I also reached 200 followers on Twitter, which I’m super happy about. I finished WandaVision, and it was pretty good! I recently started rewatching Kickin’ It, and maybe I’ll revisit other childhood favorites. If you’re looking for some comedic, low-energy consuming shows, I suggest Disney shows like Lab Rats, Girl Meets World, Good Luck Charlie, etc.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I don’t have the energy to watch any drama or thriller shows, and nothing seems interesting anymore. However, old Disney shows, are the type where you can be distracted and still enjoy it.

Till next time, take care!!

So I’m also lazy. A few things I could relate to. I remember when I used to go to gym in 2019 it used to be literally empty on Sundays. It was extremely boring but I carried on. Since last year no gym and no workout at home which is bad. I read on sabri in your previous post I’ll check on her whenever I want to start workout. books I wanna read more lately too so searching on that. I also dont have the energy to watch dramas Netflix movies etc since last year and do all else. But keep up your workout and work. Looking to get more from you. <3
